Bullseye Association
Proposed Technical Specification Changes
Posted 4/18/05
As our Association moves forward we see the need to improve our technical specifications. Rather than re-invent specifications we are looking at the ISAF One Design Class Rules Guidelines. These will help us standardize our class specifications in line with other international one design classes. This should make it easier when people outside our association are involved in assisting us during regattas, measuring and manufacturing replacement gear. The DRAFT document linked below is an early pass at tailoring the ISAF rules to the Bullseye Association. Our intent is not to force new unwanted rules upon our membership, but to work with them to make the rules fair. To that end we are considering a phase in process for any rules changes. However, the most important part of this process is the input of the Association membership. If you feel strongly about these proposed rules or their contents please contact Phil Nutting, Wendy Goodwin, Cal Beggs or Dave Burnham.
Please note that the current DRAFT document contains proposed wordings and in some cases comments from the reviewers. This document is in Microsoft Word® format, so you may download it to your system and make edits to be considered as we go forward. If you add comments please chose a different color so we can identify the author.
Current comments are from Phil Nutting (Bullseye Association Technical Committee Chairman) and Wendy Goodwin (Vice President of Cape Cod Shipbuilding).
